Services
Financial Check-Up
The Financial Check-Up is a one-time, 3-hour, financial planning session. We will review and discuss your current financial situation and present financial planning ideas that you may implement on your own. This service is not intended to provide you with a comprehensive financial plan, but offers a second opinion on your plans that are already in place.
The Financial Check-Up is also appropriate if you are seeking advice on a limited set of issues, such as retirement planning, investment diversification, or employee benefits. We will be happy to address specific issues with you. Be sure to let us know of these issues prior to your meeting.
Clients desiring a Financial Check-Up will receive specific written recommendations and analysis, which will be provided at the meeting. The cost for the Financial Check-Up is $800 (payable at the time of the meeting). Credit cards are accepted.

Investment Philosophy
Fairfield applies a proven, disciplined investment philosophy in the management of our client portfolios. We believe that asset allocation, matched with diversification of multiple asset classes, is the key to building a successful portfolio.
We will take care to determine your investment objectives, level of risk tolerance, and portfolio time horizon to determine your appropriate asset allocation – the optimal mix of equities, fixed income, and other asset classes. Within each asset class, Fairfield further employs a diversification strategy involving investments of various styles and strategies. We will examine risk and return characteristics of each customized portfolio, and will consider how investments within the portfolio may interact with one another.
Fairfield encourages long-term investing and discourages market timing.
We seek to minimize investment expenses without forgoing return.
We will work with you to develop a personalized Investment Policy Statement based upon your investment preferences. This document will serve as a blueprint for portfolio construction and will continue to guide our investment choices to ensure that your portfolio is on target with your objectives and to rebalance your portfolio, when necessary.
